Las Vegas, NEVADA – Democracy Defense Project Nevada supported the vital update to the voter rolls in Clark County. This effort, which removed over 90,000 inactive or incorrect registrations, has not only improved the accuracy of the voter database but also reinforces the reliability of Nevada’s election system. DDP expects more counties to report their progress on this effort soon.

Former Gov. Brian Sandoval, Co-Chair of Democracy Defense Project Nevada, stated: “The recent updates to Clark County’s voter rolls are a critical measure in ensuring our elections remain fair, secure, and honest. The recent deep dive into inactive voter files helps protect the rights of every eligible voter while upholding the transparency and safety of Nevada’s election process.”

Rich Perkins, former Speaker of the Assembly and Co-Chair for Democracy Defense Project Nevada, remarked: “The completion of this voter roll initiative is yet another significant step forward to ensure our voter databases are up to date. Nevada’s commitment to a system that values accuracy and integrity is unwavering, DDP will continue to work diligently with state and local officials to maintain the highest standards in our voting systems.”

Democracy Defense Project remains dedicated to ongoing efforts to monitor and enhance voter roll accuracy statewide, ensuring a secure and trustworthy electoral environment.
